paint on my car went dead, so I redid my entire car in a Duct
Tape Paint Job! I put my website address on the side in black
duct tape, and soon my car was recognized hundreds of miles around!"- Keith
Drone "In school, my 3-inch binder was falling apart from being two full, so I duct-taped it together. Now the duct tape is the only thing holding together!" -
Hunter
"My mom and I were having a fight, (and yes, I was
RIGHT in this argument..) and since she wouldn't let up. I stayed in my room for
a week over the summer, with the few attempts to get food and use the restroom
(and check my email) while she was gone, of course. With my free time, I
used duct tape and spelled out "AMANDA IS LEFT" on my wall (I never
use positive statements.. haha. right is wrong. but left is
good). I also added some duct tape spider webs in the corners of my room,
with one having a Spiderman action figure taped to it. She screamed, so I
guess she doesn't understand the beauty of duct tape art" - Amanda "Duct
tape makes a good girdle. I know, I ate for the whole week before my wedding and
at the last minute, could not fit into my wedding dress. So.....I duct taped the
area from my chest to my bum.....my dress fit perfectly"-Jennifer Galloway "I have a prosthetic (artificial) leg and one time out of pure stupidity, I broke it at the ankle. After about two hours of worrying what my parents would
say, I wrapped it with duct tape and walked on it for two weeks. My parents never found out, until now" - Pegleg "well, I'm in marching band and my
school is rather cheap and we have no band budget whatsoever, so we duct-taped
the trumpet back together" -Olivia" A friend was in Haiti, and said a little girl there had cut her
toes really bad. No bandages were available to hold the toes on her foot while the doctor came, so she used duct tape." - Keith Drone "I
use the almighty duct tape to gain social status at my local high school Bear
River High (Garland, Utah)! Techies rule!" - Howie "I made a model mini donkey. well, actually i am in the process!" -kristin "My deer stand broke, so I taped
myself in the tree!" Jack Astle "I use duct tape to hold my
car seat together" - Jerry Goldsmith "It
keeps my ceiling fan from breaking apart when it runs"- Dana Poole "I have
a lot of pain in my feet due to peripheral neuropathy, and was looking for comfortable shoes. Not being able to find any, I made my own out of a pair of socks, the bottoms of old "tiddies" and duct tape. They are very comfortable, fit my feet perfectly and best of all, if the bottoms wear out, I just add more tape. I have always believed that you can fix anything with duct tape, and my children even give me rolls for Christmas, Fathers Day and my birthday"

Anonymous! I made myself a pair of duct tape shoes years ago, and
not only were they comfortable, but they last wonderfully!- ~ Keith "Well
I had to make this poster about a famous math guy in my geometry class. So
I ran out of clear tape so I just used Duct tape for the hole poster to hold up
the pictures and info and stuff. I thought it looked good but I have no
Idea what my teacher thought. But hey I got credit!"- Matt Endicott
"Duct tape was coming off of a previously patched project, so I used more duct tape to hold it down!"- Barry Stevens "We
use duct tape as window tint at work on our work trucks. we tried it as a mirror
but were all blind I guess" -Rick nelson "It's really humid in my dorm, so the
moisture causes regular tape to fail... after repeated mornings of waking up
under my Brodie Armstrong poster, I duct taped it, and am pleased to report that
it never fell down again." - Nicole "I've
used it for many things... one at our school we used it to hold a xylophone
together, actually 2 xylophones, and at the end of the school year, I put duct
tape all on the back of my shirt, and down my shorts and had people sign it,
because I'm too cheap to buy a year book! I love duct tape!!" -Basschick "Rewrap
your shoe strings when they begin to fray"- Eric "My
aunt uses duct tape, positioned sticky-side up, on her tables to discourage her
cats from jumping on the tables. It works. However, it is not recommended that
anyone puts duct tape directly on cat's fur. I've obtained many many cat bites
and claw scratches from that (every time after the first was an accident). Also,
my mom likes to place random strips of duct tape, also sticky side up, on the
floor by walls and effectively traps spiders and other bugs" - Jae "When
I was in high school, I played the "bride" in "Father of the
Bride." Opening night I tripped going down some stairs backstage during the
show and ripped out the back zipper of my bridal gown! I only had about 3
minutes to get back on stage so the mistress of costumes did her best - she
grabbed a roll of white duct take and taped the dress to my back and sent me
back out on stage!"- Jean
"The ceiling in my car started to come off. Now it's stuck on with good old
duct tape."- Brian
"I Use it to
new tape people's mouth shut" - Brandon
"made a full outfit out of duct tape,
including skirt, black jacket, purse, with matching bracelet+choker. DUCT TAPE
FOREVER" -Julie "In sunny
Southeast Asia (Vietnam), our aircraft mechanics used duct tape (OD color of
course) as a temporary patch for bullet holes in helicopters. Soldiers
don't call it duct tape ... it is "hundred-mile-an-hour tape." -Ken "I
ride horses (Western) and I have not yet gotten a horse of my own, so I made one
out of duct tape and paper/posterboard/foamcore. I have made adjustments
to it and now it is the size of a real horse. I can practice on it and it
is perfect... except it doesn't move!" - Julie
"A friend of mine made a wallet out
of duct tape about 5 years ago
and he still uses it to hold his money and his id"- Joe "I
made a suit coat, as well as a dress style hat out of the wonder-adhesive, duct
tape. I wore it to a mardi gras themed dance, and the ladies couldn't get
enough of me!!" - Duct Pimp
